In a bizarre crossover event that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Revealed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome changes resonate through the darkness." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.

The questline centers on "strange trials and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a striking moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
