The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
